Frequently asked questions

What does the converter transfer?

The converter turns the workout sets in your StrengthLog CSV into Liftosaur’s history format, including workout dates, exercises, reps, weights, warmup flags, and supported set durations and exercise notes. It converts workout history, rather than training programs or account settings.

What happens to exercise names?

Known exercises are matched to Liftosaur names. Depending on the server configuration, unmatched names may also use AI-assisted matching. Names that cannot be resolved are kept as custom exercises. Check the import preview in Liftosaur before saving.

Is my file converted on my device?

No. Your CSV is uploaded to this server for processing. You do not need to sign in to this converter or share your StrengthLog or Liftosaur password.

Why won’t my file convert?

Use an original StrengthLog CSV export with its header row intact. Empty files, missing columns, or invalid values cannot be converted. The server also enforces file-size and row limits; by default, these are 25 MiB per file and 100,000 sets. If a file exceeds the limits, try exporting a smaller date range if your app supports it.

Can I convert exports from another app?

This converter currently supports StrengthLog exports and Liftosaur imports only.
